French model Inès Rau made headlines this year by becoming Playboy’s first transgender playmate in the magazine’s 64 year history.

The 27 year old, who poses fully nude in the November/December 2017 issue, first gained recognition after appearing on an episode of TF1's docu-series Sept à huit, which focuses on a day in the life of a trans model. Rau also boasts a successful fashion career, fronting campaigns for French fashion house Balmain, appearing in both American and Italian Vogue, and commanding the catwalk at fashion weeks across the globe.
